8/11/2010 August Club Meeting
The second Wednesday of the month the club meets in the Ouachita Activities Bldg next to the Woodlawns Auditorium. The "meet & greet" time is from 6:30-7 PM and the meeting is 7-9 PM. This month's main program presenter is to be announced.

9/8/2010 Annual Club Picnic

Date: Wednesday, September 8th at the Balboa pavilion (spouses and "significant others" are definitely invited).

5:00 PM Social Time: to meet & greet; view Toy Project items; view/buy member items for sale and view/bid on silent auction items.

6:00 PM Dinner Time: catered by Roland's Bar B Que (same as last year). Liquid refreshments are planned.

Entertainment: provided by the HSV Crystal Chimes Chorus

Activities include: Silent auction and door prizes are being solicited. Members can bring items to sell, and retain the money.

Tickets will be sold at the August 11 Club Meeting, two for $15.00 ($10.00 each if you wait till the picnic).

10/13/2010 October Club Meeting

11/10/2010 Annual Toy Distribution Meeting
The club's Annual Toy Distribution Meeting is the second Wednesday of November in the meeting rooms of the Ouachita Activities Bldg (next to the Woodlawns Auditorium).

The schedule of events includes:
5 PM setup of toy distribution displays and toy sales tables.
6 PM start of public viewing of over 400 toys to be distributed to 6 Garland & Saline County organizations that will give them to special situations children.
6 PM is also the start of over 100 public toy sales in the lobby of the Ouachita building.
7 PM is the start of the short club business meeting and Toy Distribution activities.

12/8/2010 Annual Christmas Meeting
The second Wednesday of December the club members & spouses meet in the Ouachita Activities Bldg for the annual Christmas party. The "meet & greet" time is from 6:30-7 PM and the meeting is 7-9 PM. The "business" part of the meeting will be limited to introducing the 2011 proposed Board of Directors and voting on them. The meeting includes sharing snacks, socializing and viewing the "Best of Show & Tell" projects. Don't forget to bring one or more of your favorite "show & tell" items/projects for display at this club meeting. Also bring your spouse to our annual Christmas club meeting. Everyone will much appreciate any desert/cookies you are able to share during the 6:30-7 PM "meet & greet" time. The club will be providing hot coffee and cold drinks during the meeting. Additional details will be announced.
